Why Brokers Are Hiring for a "Book of Clients" — and the Trap Inside It
Wednesday, 08 Jul 2026

Lately my LinkedIn feed is full of the same job post. Broker looking for an "affiliate manager" or "partner manager" — and somewhere in the requirements, quietly, "must have an existing book of clients" or "portfolio ready to onboard." I've worked in this industry long enough to know exactly what that line means. It's not really asking for a manager. It's asking someone to bring the clients they built at their last broker, fast.

Reddit Unblocked in Indonesia: What It Means for Marketers and Brand Visibility in AI Search
Wednesday, 08 Jul 2026

The Reddit unblock is not a social media story — it is an AI visibility story. Reddit is the most-cited source in AI-generated answers, and for 11 years Indonesian brands were locked out of it. Because AI citations lag roughly one year behind, the threads created in the next 6–12 months will define what AI says about Indonesian brands through 2027–2028. The window belongs to whoever moves first, and it rewards genuine participation, not campaigns.

FIFA Covered Their Logos. Levi
Wednesday, 08 Jul 2026

Have you see any change on Levi’s logo on their instagram? Have you see their new logo on their stadium? It was just a white tarp over their stadium sign — except the tarp was shaped exactly like the Levi&#39s batwing, with a caption welcoming the world to the "beautiful [redacted] stadium." I laughed, and then I stopped, because I realised I was looking at an ad for a brand that had technically just been told it wasn&#39t allowed to advertise. So what&#39s actually going on here, and why is it smarter than it looks?

Netflix Aired the Climb. The Brand Behind Honnold Quietly Won It.
Friday, 05 Jun 2026

Everyone says Netflix won Alex Honnold&#39s Taipei 101 climb. The bigger winner spent almost nothing — and it explains how brand ambassadors actually create value.

What Starbucks

Starbucks Korea's "Tank Day" promo became a national crisis in hours. Here's what actually went wrong — and what regulated brands should change in how they make decisions.

Should Clinics Give Discounts for Good Google Reviews?
Monday, 25 May 2026

Should clinics give discounts for good Google reviews or social media posts? It may increase short-term visibility, but it can reduce trust and create platform risk.

Can Small Beauty Clinics Win Against Big Clinic Chains?
Monday, 25 May 2026

Small clinics are not playing a losing game unless they copy big clinic chains with smaller resources. They can win by being more trusted, more specific, and more personal.

Does Spread Matter for Indonesian Forex Traders? Not Always at First, But Eventually It Does
Monday, 25 May 2026

“Does spread matter? What is spread, actually?” asked one trader I met during a forex broker seminar.

AI Agents in Forex and Crypto Brokerage: Automation Is Powerful, But Control Is the Real Advantage
Thursday, 07 May 2026

A forex or crypto broker deals with client funds, KYC documents, withdrawals, leverage, trading risk, IB partners, compliance rules, complaints, and public trust. One wrong automation does not only create a bad user experience. It can create a legal issue, a reputational issue, license issue or a very expensive business mistake.

Patient Loyalty in Indonesia Healthcare: Why Good Service Still Doesn’t Make Patients Come Back
Thursday, 30 Apr 2026

One doctor, a clinic owner, once told us that they believed they had a genuinely good product. They used the same product as a high-end clinic, supported by Japan-based technology, and they truly believed in the quality. But they had one problem: most of their clients were new clients. They came once, and they rarely came back. Loyalty never existed.

The Role of Word of Mouth in Indonesian Healthcare: Why Trust Can Beat Your Best Marketing Narrative
Wednesday, 29 Apr 2026

You may invest in branding, ads, social media, KOLs, beautiful facility photos, even a very polished campaign about “patient-centered care”. But one patient saying, “The doctor did not explain anything,” or “The admin was confusing,” or “My father was treated badly” can move faster than your campaign, like way much faster. This is the uncomfortable part of healthcare marketing in Indonesia. People do not only choose healthcare based on what you say about yourself. They choose based on what other people dare to say about you.

Do Forex Brokers and Fintechs Really Need OOH in Indonesia?
Wednesday, 29 Apr 2026

Let’s be honest here. OOH like billboards, digital OOH, and video billboards is not cheap. To make it worse, it is hard to measure properly, let alone expect some instant direct return from it. If you are a marketer in a forex broker or fintech company, and someone says, “let’s put up a billboard and see how much FTD we get,” your jaw will probably drop for a couple of seconds for no clear reason. So the real question is not whether OOH looks nice. The real question is whether forex brokers or fintech brands in Indonesia actually need it.
