What Was the Challenge?

A global broker entered several Southeast Asian markets using no deposit bonus campaigns.

Within a short period, bonus abuse increased significantly, driving high acquisition volume but low-quality users, resulting in inefficient spend.

What Did We Do?

Restructured the bonus strategy by limiting no deposit offers to IB-driven acquisition instead of open public campaigns. Introduced a hybrid CPA layer for IB on top of commission, incentivizing them not just to acquire users, but to drive conversion into FTD.

This repositioned the bonus from a mass acquisition tool into a more controlled, performance-driven mechanism, while also creating a more attractive offer for IB recruitment.

What Changed?

Reduced exposure to bonus abuse and improved overall acquisition quality. Higher conversion from leads to FTD, along with increased effectiveness in acquiring and activating IB partners.
